IMM Hydrogen Samplers
DESCRIPTION
SYSCON Sensors Hydrogen Measuring probes are designed for the Steel industry to aid in the degassing process and to ensure that final hydrogen content remains within specified limits. Control of hydrogen level in finished steel products is essential to reduce and eliminate flaking, fissures, cracking, blowholes, pinholes, breakouts and other defects. SYSCON Hydrogen Measuring probes include non-splash coatings which are specific for use at Ladle or Tundish stations.
Immersion tubes are made from high density convolute wound paper for maximum strength and resilience. Probes with immersion tubes are available in a variety of lengths. Maintain stock in cool, dry, and well-ventilated location. Paper tube moisture content must remain below 12%. Appropriate PPE required; splashing of molten metal can occur.
